The brain computes on a need to know
basis, it does not need to know
everything.
When we look at this image nothing changes on the page but something has changed in the brain.
Why is this? The brain makes
assumptions about the incoming data
and these assumptions are based on
our previous experience.
One might then argue that you are not perceiving what is out there you are perceiving whatever your brain tells you.
