Why Lock Your Doors

If anyone calls you paranoid for keeping your doors locked at all hours of the day, send them a link to a crime wave post and the pathological mind set of those who carry out such crimes
Can we then extend the locking of your door
to emigration I mean you probably have a wall
around your back garden and the more money you have (Hollywood lefties) your front garden as well.
So if we extend the analogy of garden to country why have borders, yet they have existed since time immemorial. Why?
