Is it better in this time of Plague/Virus to develop alternatives to one’s present beliefs.

Is it better to focus on whether one has been imaginative enough to develop interesting alternatives to one’s present beliefs.

One's  assumptiona at a time like this  is that we are in a foundationless world, and that creative, secular humanism must replace the quest for an external authority (God, Nature, and so forth) to provide hope for a better future.

A future as being free from dogmatically authoritarian assertions about truth and goodness such as the challenged Nancy Pelosi assert wit her 'prayers'

The unfairness of these 'Virus ' deaths and many have been taken in their prime of life  makes one want to be raucously secularist. not in that religious manner of  tholding justice and reality in a single vision, as we come to terms

that these old religious ideas or metaphors are frozen into dogmatic truisms about truth and goodness.
