Abraham intends to murder his son, well you know if God commands.....well then
a story from the Hebrew Bible found in Genesis 22. In the biblical narrative, God tells Abraham to sacrifice his son, Isaac, on Moriah. Abraham begins to comply, when a messenger from God interrupts him. Abraham then sees a ram and sacrifices it instead.
On the entire issue of whether Abraham’s willingness to murder his son is an act of faith, or simply an unforgivable transgression, “Abraham is at the same time, the most moral and the most immoral, the most responsible and the most irresponsible”
