We have to account for others great fortune and their misfortune is an explanation, we think the explanation should be equally momentous,we have an intuitive assumption that dramatic phenomena should have dramatic explanations. However to look at events in a more rational light we find more often than not that dramatic phenomena (a millionaire) have rather prosaic explanations, s/he worked hard did good deals over a long period of time etc.
