,God is good', is God's goodness analogous to human goodness.
When one says that "God is good", is the goodness in question is exactly the same sort of goodness that is meant when one says "Juliet is good". And if it is a different kind of 'goodness' i.e one we could never know but must take on trust, is there not a touch of metaphysical, stop gap/deception here?
