In the UK a creeping fear of a minroity faith makes us surrender our Christianity.

i

There is hostility which the Christian religion is uniquely expected to suffer in Britain.

Last month we saw UK cinemas refusing to show a short film of a diverse group of people - from the Archbishop of Canterbury to a black gospel group - saying the Lord's Prayer.

Leading cinema chains claimed that this ancient prayer could "offend people".

And that is where the Christian faith is losing its voice in our culture and how Christianity is being marginalised. No cinema chain or public body would dare to ban any other expression of religious faith from their screens.

But a vocal minority from one faith and a creeping fear of that minority from the majority means that we are offering up our past and surrendering our present.
