What's honesty and sincerity got to do with it?

What happened back then in one's youth, was to do things,doing 'it', whatever it was, really honestly and sincerely,yes sincerely.

Yes we were going to make truth, independent visions of Truth, by remaking politics, and with the help of some benevolent hallucinogens, remake reality itself while we were at it.  But at least we did it honestly and sincerly and that is that matters.

But is it?

We, or some of us,  have learned how little sincerity and honesty has to do with making or remaking anything.

What should be applaued here is naive effort.
