Is the awe you experience in a Cathedral aesthetic or religious?

You walk into a cathedral, you feel a sense of awe, so if the awe aesthethic or religious.
You walk into a vast concert hall, say the Royal Albert Hall in London, it could be argued that  you have the same sense of awe as you do when you walk into the Cathedral.

The point here is the potency (your sene of awe) of the builidng
Cathedral or Concert Hall is quite distinct from its nobility
(High Mass in the Cathedral) or its 'baseness' Heavy Metal concert at the Royal Albert Hall.
