Ed Miliband in his party conference speech yesterday in Manchester mentions his desire to create 'One Nation' 41 times, and he mentions the millionaires and the Bankers with enough venom to make it sound like a million times. So where does this put his 'United Britian' 'One Nation' idea?
He mentions his comprehensive school to assuage his wider audience that he is just an ordinary working class lad, he does not mention he went to Oxford like David Cameron, or that he just happened to pop off to Harvard to gloss finish his education. How must did that cost Ed?
As to 'millionaires', surely Ed Milliband who continually points his finger at millionaires, is a millionaire himself.
He has a house in London worth at least (approximately) £1.5 million.
He has a salary of Annual: GBP £132,387.00
He has an MPs Pension and other justifiable perks as an MP
Does the above not make our Ed a millionaire?
Will the great British public 'twig' that our Ed
is a populist par excellence, making out that he is 'us', when he us when he is clearly 'them'.
Mainstream media treated his speech as if it was an audition for X Factor. 'Wow! made that one hour speech without notes.' But a great deal of what he said, has been said before, this in on video record,
So in a sense he had learnt his lines. And as to 'lines' it take a degree of pathology to learn a one hour speech.
