London is 'f...ed'.

I get on a train at Victoria Station in central London. The train is jam packed, There is a seething mass of  humanity, I think of Calcutta.  People are eating foul smelling food, yapping in a bewildering array of foreign languages. And then there is the high decibel communication on mobiles. I think this is a dystopian hell.

I am on my way to the suburbs of London in an endeavour to rent an apartment for a relative.
The agent takes me to a house.  The door is opened by a furious looking, swarthy man,
who seems none too pleased to see us. Behind him there are other swarthy types, men and then more men emerge from doors, and then women a little less aggressive appear to stare at us - these two intrepid intruders. The only thing missing is spears. Got to get away from these threatening looks. So ,,,,up the stairs...knock tentatively on door....a woman emerges and gives us a sullen look. Another door, someone in bed..who shouts out at us. I start getting fanciful and think it is like coming upon   some remote Brazilian tribe, for they all look at me wide eyed and I look at them gob smacked.....oh God, get me out of here.

I thank the Agent for showing me 'London's sociological phenomenon'. He smiles and says               "...well in my job you can't talk about such things.'
"I think it is not just your job you cannot talk about it anywhere. Political correctness in metropolian London is Orwellian." Later we have a drink and he loosens up...."well, you saw for yourself today,
London is fucked.

Who has done this, who has changed London so irredeemably?  It was the politicians. Why did 'they' the politicians do it?
And who Who are these politicians that 'gerrymandered' London?.  For they should be brought to account. Why?  Because they cynically manipulated immigration for their own power, ie votes. Their behaviour has been no different than the African tin pot dictator whom they would so readily vilify.

So who are these politicians?

As Melanie Phillips  puts it, "... the outrageous truth slips out: Labour  (when in power for 13 yers) cynically plotted to transform the entire make-up of Britain without telling us." And they did it in the following way

For New Labour one important minority were the Scots. For decades voters north of the border have returned a large majority of Labour MPs even when the English abandoned the Party. So naturally the Government attempt to keep them sweet with an advantageous public spending settlement.

Another big minority are those who work in the public sector. They could be forgiven for their rather greater sympathy in voting for the party most enthusiastic about increasing state spending. In some of our northern cities most of the middle class is on the state payroll.

Labour has also traditionally been dominant in gaining the immigrant vote this is section of the electorate where Labour is strong. So there is a certain crude logic about the astonishing revelation that they have deliberately been pushing for more immigration for political reasons.
Ex-Government advisor Andrew Neather says there was a 'driving political purpose' behind it.
This was kept secret at the time

Few would argue that maintaining the UK's  historic role as a safe haven for those fleeing tyranny, and other justifiable arguments ie the economy and an ever involving job market where there are shortage and needs, has also to be addressed in any criticism.

However what is certainly unjustified was the policy of immigration being allowed to get out of control. It was not due to incompetence but multicultural whims and a cynical determination to gerrymander election resul
Melanie Phillips again:  "... the outrageous truth slips out: Labour cynically plotted to transform the entire make-up of Britain without telling us."

Now my question is: should the leader of  a political party who may have nodded through and was therefore complicit in gerrymandering immigration, be rewarded as the next Prime Minister of  Great Britain or should he be sent to jail?
