Hearing voices and our biology.

When brain activity is kindled in the right spot, what occurs is termed

Temporal lobe epipepsy ie hearing voices. Joan of Arc probably the best known for hearing voices was a temporary lobe epilepsy sufferer. As were many visionaries, mystics and saints.

Fast forward to modern day medicine and a droplet of the correct medicine arrests the hearing of voices.

What do we conclude from this?  Perhaps it is that our reality depends on the state of our biology at the time in question.
