Death, where is thy sting?

There was a time when the meaning of our existence depended on our fate in the after life
Humans died because God decreed it, the moment of death was a sacred metaphysical experience
about to breathe one's last it was time to call the priest to give the Last Sacraments (Catholic)

The Grim Reaper a figure for many of humour, still carries the death omen of your time has come.

however in reality humans don't die because Go decreed It, or death is part of a great cosmic plan. humans die because of some 'technical' failure, i.e heart fail, arteries get clogged, Cancerous cell spread , but the technical failure is that he heart stop pumping blood, because not enough oxygen reached the heart muscle, or cancerous cells spread because of a genetic mutations, or more prosaically germs settled on my lungs because someone sneezed on the subway
these are all technical problems and technical problems have technical solutions.

So what if....what if...there was no death...which would a world without heaven, hell, or reincarnation be like? which brings one to the exhilarating speed Science is advancing

As a result of this advance science has an entirely different take on death
Scientists don't think of death as some metaphysical mystery, rather Scientific advance
views death is a technical problem that could and  should be solved through science
