Flynn and the despotic nature of 'truth'.

I would argue about the paradoxical need to recognise 'untruth’ as a condition of political life.  I think future educationalists should point out that there is a despotic nature to ‘Truth’. Take Politics; the most trenchant or forceful consideration of this issue is that the deliberate falsehood and the outright lie, has always been used as legitimate means to achieve Political ends and has been with us since the beginning of recorded history.
