Post modern thinking has had a bad press of late, however hard not to concede to some of their
observations, for instance Derrida's take on selfhood by way of evaluating our thoughts:
If we are to be self present, stand alone beings, to believe we as individuals transcend say to think that our thinking process is outside our immediate context is a false and hubristic notion; our thoughts are deprived of having a stand alone quality because of the structural dependency on other people's thoughts for their existence.
Let's call that, the chain of events, or entanglement.
