Enter Joe Biden stage Left in the last scene of all.
The appearance of Joe holding a cue card to remember his lines, brings to an end the strange eventful history of our 'hero' who in a form of second childishness must confront oblivion; therein lies our Drama;
we have watched him pass through the seven stages
the helpless infant,
the whining schoolboy,
the emotional lover,
the parasitic politician
the profoundly unwise judge,
and now the old man and the doubt that he is in control of his faculties.
The curtain comes down and the audience leaves the Theatre without witnessing
our hero's decline into the extremely aged, and the return to that infancy state of helplessness.
As the Bard (Shakespeare) would have it
now our hero is 'Sans teeth, sans eyes, sans taste, sans everything.' except he is President of the United States. God help us all.
