We cannot get outside 'time' or 'language' therefore

One of the great projects in the history of modern thought has been the attempt to achieve the untainted perspective, the Archimedean view of reality. Following Thomas Nagel, The View From Nowhere (1986), I argue that in observing time we do not have the luxury of an Archimedean ‘view from nowhere.’ I point out, our observations of the temporal are constrained by being within the temporal, we are withing 'time' just as we are within language and cannot get outside to get a God

like Archimedian view.  That is why some people view language as fascist.
