Minimally, self-deception involves a person who seems to acquire and maintain some false belief in the teeth of evidence to the contrary.

(exsample Biden and his political team of hame fisted inadequates; on a broader front was the US  electorate deeived in the last Election?

This begs the question whether self-deception is intentional and whether self deceivers  are morally responsible for their self-deception....this is a question that could be justifiably addressed to the US (corrupt?) Liberal US Media, n what sense collectives (Media/Voters  can be self-deceived)

So the question might be considered in what sense collectives can be self-deceived?
