What to do when your body goes into a traffic jam of stress

Your moods, resentments, the hurt of not being acknowledged, that person who is driving you mad at work, your anger against her for ignoring you, all if these can develop into a stress ball in your body
not dealt with, it can become your temperament, your character and part of your reputation,
'he is such an angry guy', oh she is always like that, she is so moody.

Such negative emotions unattended can develop into a personality disorder.

So how does one deal with this, well, try compassion towards those who irritate you
I don't mean compassion in a Religious sense but to use it in scientific mode, by understanding the physiology  of the body and how thoughts patterns create stress.
