When you look at people the wrong way

’A micro aggression is an action, looking at someone, in what they deem as unfavourably or hostile,  or a choice of words that may have no malicious intent but which is interpreted by a distressed recipient as an act of violence. That is a micro aggression,  Best to keep your head down and not look at anybody.
