We (Liberals) are the nerve over which creeps the unfelt oppressions of the world.

Liberals, would have you believe,  in their holier than thou way,  that they are like some cosmic nerve
“a nerve, o’er which do creep the unfelt oppressions of the world.”  That is a Shelley quote by the way that rather sums up the self aggrandising liberal world view.
