If one desires to called a realist about morality, then one has to acceptthat the realistic assessment of morality is that it has no metaphysical implications.
It falls entirely within the realm of reasons, and one is on the right track if one avoids the strategy of extracting from morality anything of an ontologically or scientifically ‘respectable’ nature
