How technology creates a myriad of teleologies

A de-historicization of experience has been accelerated by technology, especially television,  where everything tends to flatten out at the level of contemporaneity and simultaneity” (Vattimo  [1985]. As a result, we no longer experience a strong sense of teleology in worldly events, but, instead, we are confronted with a manifold of differences and partial teleologies that can only be judged aesthetically.
