Morality does not inhere in us, as the venom does say in the snake bite. As to origins the mother/child bond is an origin but that points to the propagation of the species. Beside looking for origins is futile as has to compare something to something to deem it original so let not go down that reductionist cul de sac. There is no mystery here we as humans are socialised and in this way arrive at moral view points. More germane, take Pelosi/Trump on the 'Wall' , both argue from a moral viewpoint and your support for one on the other is guided by your socialisation (education etc) . Delving into morality is quasi religious pursuit and trying to pin it down is akin to find the exact spatial location of an astral deity,
