Hands up those who support immigration, all hands go up, hands up those

At a recent BBC debate programme in the UK the audience (numbering about 150) were asked to raise their hands if they were in favour of immigration, all hands went up.

The questioner then asked the audience to raise their hand if they had an immigrant living with them;
not one hand was raised.
What does tell us - it tells us that talk especially around what is deemed to be a moral question is easy, however when it comes to action around one's so easily voiced morals that is a wholly different question.
