What a doomsday scenario the US media paint, one could fairly call it fear mongering on an unrestrained scale, but then if one is preaching to the converted there is little danger of anyone piping up from the congregation. The US media smacks of bile couched in soi disant reason and cogency one suspects readership applause was already ringing in your ears as you penned it; but then you are doing no more than trodding the same safe anti Trump bilious path. From this side of the ocean Mr Kavanaugh appears a perfectly respectable, highly qualified nominee. OK call me naive. I am sure you would agree that we should give weight to other citizens’ views in the decision-making process, but when one witnesses the screaming protesters and the grandstanding politicians adorned in the green slime of the Swamp, at the Kavanaugh inquisition one is repulsed and saddened for America.
