The new way of showing you are listening - rolling your eyes

Television Anchor Man:  I thought it would be impolite to listen, so I jusr rolled my eyes to show  you I was
attending, it was my vituperative way of subjugating you, when I am in this rolling eyes mode  my wife 
 packs me off to Salem where witches spit at me. That kind of helps.
