ELDERLY MAN: When
she starts shoving the Bible at me, I try to explain to her that her Bible only
shows you how to get to heaven, its doesn’t tell what the heavens are made of.
She tried to argue, as they do. When I hear those kinds of arguments… about religion I am always reminded that
‘madness’ is the ability to make fine distinctions on different kinds of
nonsense. I don’t say that to her, of course. Too terrified of her
