Do we have a moral image of thought, and is in the service of power, but
there is also a more intrinsic problem with thinking itself, and this is that thought itself is dangerous.
Deleuze suggests that
artists are themselves created, within thought, and must be cultured and
afflicted by forces which exceed them to develop to the point of creativity,
Rather than having a transcendental ego which we may believe is the necessary feature of all
experience, we might be viewed as passive, receptive subjects at the mercy of the signs and symptoms
of the world.
Our thought might be likened to a spider poised in its web, observing nothing, but responding to the slightest sign as a recasting of thought.
