The landscape determines our reality more so than other notions of reality.
Does landscape shape our reality more so than say language?

There is a view which widely held that the landscape shapes human perception, and that the power of earth, the very ground that we stand on look at and move on has a great effect on our reality, much more so than the 'heavens' or 'destiny'. Climate and topography influence our cognition much more so than other areas that people accept as being the construct of our reality.
