Can we ever really 'leave' anybody?

CLOV: So, you want me to leave you.

HAMM: Naturally.

CLOV: Then I'll leave you.

HAMM: You can't leave me.

CLOV: Then I won't leave you
Because there is nowhere to go, essentially there is no one else.
