Urban life, the Spectator as Prince in his incognito

The artwork is mediated to history by it monadological nucleus, the explosion of appearance upon the inner continuity of its appearance, eternalized in an instant.

One has to move away from auratic art, the aim being the demise of aura itself.

Strolling through the city, towards the Gallery the spectator is a prince who everywhere rejoices in his incognito. He/she reflects of the replacement of permanence and solidity with transience and fragility.

At the Gallery he looks at some of the paintings and feels that 'inspiration' is a kind of convulsion
seeking out the sublime leads to convulsion if one believes one had found it.

He feels it is nor about portraying these painting in the context of their age, modern, postmodern but to represent the age that perceives them. There is a collosal paradigm shift in our technological age.
