Choosing words for Labour's malaise, or should that be crisis..

If you were writing of the UK Labour party, who are unable to make serious advances against a struggling Coalition, would you use the word for their predicament 'crisis' or 'malaise'

No, let's not use 'malaise' because it will be seen as wimpish and vaguely foreign, so let's go back
to Crisis which the Labour Part under the leadership of a pathologically ambitious, young Turk
Ed Miliband, is in, deeply in, Crisis.
