Welfare reform or thinking the unthinkable
To think the unthinkable in the UK is to contemplate doing something about Welfare reform. Proceed with Welfare
reform and you will be sent to the Gulag, by the liberal intelligentsia, the cognoscenti; the Church; academics, the armchair experts trotted out by the parasitic BBC (which lives very handsomely off the State) the media and the professionally outraged.
A very large proportion of the population in the UK live off the State, combine that with the usual suspects just listed and you have a formidable chorus to shout down any Welfare reform that might affect their vested interests.
When Labour was in Government for 13 years in the UK they had the population on Welfare methadone, (pliant voters for them), now the water line has been well breached and the GB economic ship is sinking the remedy then is not methadone but 'cold turkey'.
