Only in politics could you get someone appointed to a top job with zero experience. And Barack Obama has shown less interest in outside experience (ie a job in the 'real' world) than any modern president. If one were to compile a graph of all the US presidents on their experience of employment in the 'real' world from Rossevelt in the 30s to 80 years later - guess who would come last with close to zero experience?
