Warhol though that 'existence was nothing'.

In The Philosophy of Andy Warhol, a Warholian thought from he of the silver wig

Warhol: "Some of them critics called me the 'Nothingness Himself' and that didn’t help my sense of existence any. Then I realised that existence itself is nothing and I felt better."

Here we have  sample of Warhol planting his simplistic flag atop Mount Nihilism. Easy peasy to do.

But if "...existence is nothing", why then  was Warhol's relentless in his pursuit of the hedonistic treadmill?.
I mean like an obsessive gym user running forever into eternity, he pursued a life of  relentless cabbing and socialising and partying and self-publicity?

Well being chartiable maybe his pathological celebrity pursuits was his way of reassuring himself that he ...eh...you know, that he did actuallyexist.

However, being a lazy type of pooch myself who never strays farther from the porch, one can't help but reflect that Warhol
had a vast telephone diary of contacts and one has to think that surely he could have got all the assurance that he existed, well...at home.
