Ed Miliband’s 'One Nation' playing card to UK Voters "One Nation...yes. One Nation"...One Nation for all..." Quite/
So what is behind such soothing and comforting one family rhetoric by Ed Miliband, a machiavellian politician, (witness his brother's political corpse in the hallways of power.)
And Miliband's 'One Nation' ploy soothes the voters' minds, for 'One Nation' is an idealistic generality a la the European Union (and look how that 'One Nation' theology has turned out).
It soothes the electorate's minds to talk about society (One Nation) rather than economics, people rather than the state, the common good rather individual utility.
And Voters like it, too, because hard nosed economics make many of us feel, well tired, we find it hard going.
But Miliband is sticking to hsi 'One Nation' mantra, as he is to his mantra that the others side (Conservative) are all millionaires, laughable in that he is a millionaire himself. But this is fairly typical of the double standards Labour politicians apply when it comes to the nitty gritty of money.
Witness the extravant earnings of his brother, the billionaire Tony Blair with his 4 or is it 5 homes?
and Gordon Brown the bloated Scottish Buddha raking in £300,000 per month.
And there is no shame from these people after they have left the country (UK) in an intolerable financial mess.
too inebriated by the exuberance of his own verbosity.
