Marriage and forsaking all others.

 Marriage has been defined as an exclusive and exclusionary sexual and social relationship
between two people, with a strong economic basis and a public vow of fidelity
("forsaking all others"),
I think what drives it most is the strong economic basis, as to forsaking all others,well
the people I know who are married don't exactly have a queue of 'others' panting for them
of the forsaking bit is easy peasy.
