The naivety of having high hopes for politicians.

In the UK it was a charm offensive by a not particularly bright lawyer type, one Tony Blair,
that gulled one.  For he had one believe, that here at last was someone who might change the game
 - do 'good'. And pandering to one's moral framework, we all do that, one voted for him.

Now one only feels disgust, that a) one voted for him and b) at the mere mention of his name.

Then we come to Obama. Yes, here was someone who....but 4 years down the road
one realises ones hope were raised once again  by another duplicitous liberal lawyer.

Both appealed to my naive moral framework at the time  - 'they'  would do 'good'.
All appeals that did not square with my moral framework, a conception of 'good' was ridiculed by me.

So what was this moral framework?  A naivety.
