Are you a sinner?

Firstly what is sin?

In the Judea Christian version there is bequeathed to us the traditional doctrine of the 'fall'.

Yes, those two Adam and Eve, there they were is this Utopia,
(The Garden of Eden) and they could not resist the temptation got
up by that hellish serpent, yes that indeterminate animal,  neither of the sea or the land which has had a very bad press ever since, poor innocent slithery animal that it is. In my wife's allotment we have some garden snakes, I think they are great, extremely shy. but none the less full of personality.

Anyway, they (Adam and Eve) 'fell' to the tempting of the serpent. As a result we are all fallen and we must rise up through our actions to redeem ourselves from that fallen, unclean state of sin.

In their supposed denial of the right course of action, the question is were Adam and Eve free choosers?

For not only is there a theological influence but we must also
unearth the socio/economic/poitical background that influence our decision making.

Which begs the question do we have 'Free Will' - are we
free choosers as we are led to believe Adam and Eve were, or,
are we, as many now believe, none more so than neuro scientists,
with the ever increasing sophistication of their scanning machines,
that their is little if any choice in our decision making
