prepared to wait until the promise of life is fulfilled (the hereafter).
Along comes Dr Johnson (1709-1784) essayist and lexicographer
extrodinaire who deems that to be patient is to live without hope.
And so the virtue of ' patience' trundles along on the trolley of time
having different labels afixed to it.
