The self assertive shrillness of protest and the anarchy of self interest.

In our social networking age, 'Protest' has become a distinctive moral feature of the age.
Alongside it is 'indignation' which flaps at you from the multi-coloured canvas of those who protest.
Yet protest, for some observers can be an entirely negative phenomenon.
"What are you protesting about?"
"The intrusion of our rights."
"You mean the alleged intrusion of your rights."
There is an incomensurability between protestors and onlookers
each side protesting that they will never lose the argument and this ensures that both sides rarely have anyone to talk to but themselves.
