How feeble the efforts of the postmodern novelist, the philosopher, the religious zealot, the pope, the mullahs, the cultural theorists, the post structarilist, the tenured hermeneutes, the academics, teachers, the literati, the opinion makers, the ‘experts’ wheeled out on television to tell us how to think; how feeble they/we all are.
For despite all their/our intelligence, or lack of it, in the face of a brute reality our/their efforts seem so feeble.
And what is this brute reality? It is cosmological time. The one directionality of time is part of the expanding universe.
But science is not feeble, science can be our saviour.
