Why does the media always say the term "far right" and never talks about the far-left?

Why do I never read of the " far left" but always of the " far right?"

In Dublin (Ireland)recently there was arson enacted on a hospitality centre for immigrants 

the press screamed that it was enacted by 'far right'

thugs, this was emblazoned  across UK and Irish media

as if to draw a veil across identity being just a little more complicated than 'far right' or come to that 'far left'.
