It has been said that Dreamworks talk about how AI was replacing entire teams of animators because all they needed now were text prompts.
Obviously you still need real animators,but for instance, AI allows you to have major shortcuts in terms of thinking how a scene is gonna be composed,what a character might look like.Things that used to take weeks and months, he said would now take three to five seconds, which is really amazing if you're Dreamworks and you're driven by profits, but is obviously very scary if you're one of the animators
