Our Classical view consoles us with fundamental theory of a world

Classical mechanics classical physics. '...that is a bus,  that is a table'

consoles us with fundamental theory of a world, yet does not offer as candid a picture of things as we tend to think

Our familiarity misleads us

So, from a God’s-eye-view, if quantum states represent something physically real, what sort of thing is it?

This is the question of the ontological construal of quantum states. Another question is, whether a description in terms of quantum states can be taken as, in principle, complete, or whether it must be supplemented by different ontology.
