OUR HEALTH ADVICE - Do fat burners, appetite suppressants and other draining products live up to their promises? Le Figaro takes stock.

Appetite suppressant capsules, fat burner tablets, draining herbal teas ... In pharmacies or drugstores, in organic stores or on the internet, there are no longer any food supplements that claim to melt pounds in a few weeks. And with nearly half of the French population overweight or obese, these promises are attractive again and again. According to the latest reports from the national food supplements union, it sold for at least 84.4 million euros of slimming products in 2019.
