The left and their Utopian dreaming

 Utopia in the Age of Survival 

makes the case that critical social theory needs to reinstate utopia as a speculative myth.So the radical left in a quasi religious manner envision and paint a pictue of  Utopia, but you must follow them.

At the same time the left must reassert Utopia as an action-guiding hypothesis—that is, as something still possible

But with  the ongoing pandemic and climate change,  the failings in crisis management (Afghanistan) and the fragility of the global economic system (inflation rampant) as fertile ground for utopian dreaming.
