How we reach a 'moral' judgement

We reach a moral judgment by feeling approval or disapproval upon contemplating someone’s trait in a disinterested way from the common point of view.

So moral approval is a favorable sentiment in the observer elicited by the observed person’s disposition to have certain motivating sentiments.

Thus moral approval is a sentiment that is directed toward sentiments, or the dispositions to have them.
