When an object is not what you see.

There is the fact that interference is typically very well suppressed between localised states of macroscopic objects.

Let us say, here I am on the beach looking at a very large rock (macroscopic object)

However one has to question as to why macroscopic objects (the large rock)  appears to us to be in localised states.

Appears to us and seems are relevant terms which are undermined by the quantum fact that there is a myriad of unseen actions taking place in the rock unseen by the naked eye.

so we term it 'that rock on the beach' for

linguistic convenience.

Seems to be to be wholnaked eye.
